David Chalk

New form N251

A new form N251 has now been issued by the Ministry of Justice to enable compliance with the disclosure rules for ATE insurance and CFAs that came into force on 1 October. The changes are dealt with in this month's E-News.

NEW NOTICE REQUIREMENTS IN FORCE 1 OCTOBER 2009

Changes to the Costs Practice Direction and to the Practice Direction (Pre-Action Conduct) coming into force on 1 October 2009 must be complied with. Failure to comply with these new requirements will lead to a failure to recover an ATE premium.
